Remember Everyone Needs Identification To Vote

Every voter must have the proper identification to vote.  The type of identification needed varies if you are an absentee voter or you vote at the polls on election day.  For information about what identification will work click here.  For Election Day the most common type of identification used is an Ohio Driver's LIcense.  The address on the Ohio Driver's License does not have to match the address you are voting from here in Athens.  You may also use a State of Ohio Indentification card.  You also can use one of the following as long as it has your name and voting address on it.  A paycheck, a utility bill, a letter from a government agency including Ohio University,

You cannot use a passport or an OU ID.
