Directions
The new Baker Center was opened in January of 2007. To reach the new Baker Center parking garage you go to the lower level of Baker Center. Baker Center is a 5 story building. The ground level Floor 1 can be reached by turning at the light at Peden Stadium to the left if traveling from downtown Athens toward the Ohio University Inn this is called South Green Drive. You follow to Oxbow Trail and take a left. You follow this road around to the front of Baker Center. If facing Baker Center you will see to your left a faculty parking lot. The parking garage is located below this lot. To access the parking garage you go past the lot and enter from the end of the building. The elevators are located at the back of the garage and you pay when you leave the garage.
For handicapped or others being dropped off you can access the building by going to the entrance located on Mulberry Place/Park Place which puts you on the 4th Floor which is the floor where the Grand Ballroom is located and where we are holding the dinner. Mulberry Place if off of Richland Avenue. You turn left off of Richland Avenue going in the direction of the Ohio University Inn. You turn at the graffiti wall. The new Baker Center will be on your rifht. There is no parking available from this entry point unless you can find a parking space in the very limited parking on the street.
